2. General rules of using the Le Savon Sauvage online shop
2.1 The on-line shop may be used only by persons who are at least 18 years old. Anyone under 18 may use the online shop only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
3. Order placement
3.1 Orders are accepted through www.lesavonsauvage.com.
3.2 The products in the online shop are specifically marked. The website includes information about the features of the products, their prices and composition. The Customer is required to read carefully the composition of the product and asses if it is suitable for their skin and health condition.
3.3 While ordering a product, the Customer selects it in a manner specific for that product, providing specific information required by specific fields of the website and the quantity of the ordered products.
4. How to buy in the online shop – a detailed guide
4.1 Once the Customer chooses a product, the “Add to cart” icon should be clicked.
4.2 The product is moved to cart, which becomes visible after clicking the cart icon in the upper right corner of the site. The Customer can go to cart by clicking the “View cart” button, which activates a page displaying all the products in the cart.
4.3 Selecting the “Proceed to checkout” option will launch a page where the Customer should enter the data required for the transaction and shipment of the ordered products.
4.4 Having selected the shipping method (with shipping to the specified address) and entered all the required details (including billing details, if necessary), the payment method should be chosen.
4.5 The Customer may choose online card payment;
4.6 The Customer places the order by clicking the “Place order” button.
4.7 After clicking the “Place order” button and after making the payment by card, the Customer is redirected to a page confirming the order; from that page, they can either continue shopping or go to order summary.
4.8 With online payment as the payment method, the payment must be made immediately after the order was placed. If Le Savon Sauvage does not receive the payment, the order is considered to have been placed incorrectly, which means that there is no contract and the order will not be processed. If this is the case, the Customer will have to place another order.
4.9 At any stage of the order placement, until the payment is made, the Customer can cancel the order by discontinuing the ordering process and leaving the ordering website. An order the placement of which has not been completed will not be processed.
4.10 After an order is placed, the Customer will receive an order confirmation e-mail to the address they have specified in the login details. The Customer may be contacted at the e-mail address or the indicated phone number to clarify any doubt, confirm the order placement or in any other matters connected with order processing.
5.1 The prices in the online shop stated in Euros are gross prices, inclusive of the VAT.
5.2 The price is increased by the shipping cost, which depends on the selected shipping and payment method.
5.3 The price specified on the site at the moment of placing the order is the final price, binding both upon the Customer and on-line shop. Once the order is placed, the price will not change, notwithstanding any price adjustments, regardless of any special offers or clearance sale campaigns.
5.4 Le Savon Sauvage reserves the right to change the prices of the products available in the on-line shop, launch new products, launch and cancel special offers or change them.
6. Inability to process an order
6.1 If a product is out of stock or the order cannot be processed for any other reason, the Customer will be notified via e-mail or phone about any order processing issues and possible solutions.
7. Shipping method and order lead time
7.1 Products are only shipped within EU countries.
7.2 If the selected products are available, and the Customer has chosen shipment to a specified address then the shipping time is 1-2 business days and the delivery time is 1-7 business days (according to the destination and delivery method chosen) following successful order placement after the payment was done. The shipping time can be longer during clearance sales or special campaigns and delivery can last longer as well in special circumstances at the shipment or delivery place. Once the customer makes the online payment, order processing commences after the account of Le Savon Sauvage is credited with 100% of the amount due for the order, and this is when the time limit for shipping the products to the Customer starts to run.
7.3 The provider/s for courier service are chosen at the sole decision of Le Savon Sauvage. The cost for the shipping is calculated automatically by the shipping application according to the destination and delivery method and clearly stated at check-out. The costs might be changed from time to time by the shipping company and the applicable cost for a certain order will appear separately from the cost of the products ordered.
8. Sales contract
8.1 The information available hereon does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code.
8.2 The Contract is entered into in English.
8.3 The Customer has the right to rescind the sales contract within 14 days without cause.
8.4 The right of rescission expires 14 days of the day on which the Customer came into possession of the products or a third party specified by the Customer and other than the carrier came into possession of the products.
8.5 To exercise the right of rescission, the Customer must submit a clear notice of rescission to Le Savon Sauvage using one of the following channels:

8.6 In the event of sales contract rescission, Le Savon Sauvage refunds all the received payments to the Customer, excluding the costs of delivering the products without undue delay, and in no case later than 14 days after the date when Le Savon Sauvage received the products back from the customer and the Customer’s notice on exercising their right to rescind the sales contract.
8.7 The refund shall be made using the same payment channel as was used by the Customer in the original transaction, unless the Customer has explicitly agreed to another solution. In any case, the Customer will bear no charges connected with that refund, except for the transport charges for returning the products, which must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging. The refund will be withheld until Le Savon Sauvage receives the products back unused, undamaged and in their original packaging.
9.1 A complaint can be filed by post or by email at the contact address mentioned herein and must specify the causes of the complaint and the information required to identify the order.
9.2 The complaint shall be examined within 14 days and the Customer shall be informed about the outcome. If the outcome of the complaint is positive, the Customer will be reimbursed for any reasonable costs of shipping the defective products to the online shop and the products will be shipped back to Le Savon Sauvage. If the outcome of the complaint is negative, the products will stay with the customer.
9.3 Le Savon Sauvage cannot be held responsible for indirect losses which occur as a result of the main loss or damage, for example loss of profits or opportunities or in case of failure to ensure the delivery of the products ordered or to meet any of the obligations under these Terms & Conditions when such failure is due to an event reasonably not under Le Savon Sauvage control, including but not limited to fires, floods, storms, riots, civil unrest, wars, pandemics, lockdown, nuclear accidents and terrorist activity.
9.4 Le Savon Sauvage liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with an order on the website will be limited to the total price of that order.
10. Order termination
10.1 The Customer may resign from the order.
The Customer can ask to exchange the purchased products. In order to exchange products that have been purchased, the Customer shall contact Le Savon Sauvage via the contact form on the website or by sending an email to [email protected], explaining the reason(s) for soliciting an exchange. After reaching a mutual agreement regarding the exchange in terms of desired products and reasons for
exchanging, the customer can send the purchased products back to Le Savon Sauvage.
The Customer will bear no charges connected with that exchange, except for the transport charges for returning the products and the transport charges for the replacement products, which must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging. The exchange will be withheld until Le
Savon Sauvage receives the products back unused, undamaged and in their original packaging.
In case there is a price difference between the purchased products and the ones the Customer wants to replace them with, it will be handled as follows: if the exchanged products have a higher price than the replacement products, the Customer will receive a discount coupon with the
respective amount. If the replacement products have a higher price than the exchanged products, the Customer will be asked to transfer the difference in price to the bank account of Le Savon Sauvage. The customer shall also transfer the cost of transport for the replacement products to the bank account of Le Savon Sauvage.
Replacement order processing commences after the account of Le Savon Sauvage has been credited with the agreed amount.
In case the products returned to Le Savon Sauvage are in any way damaged, they will be sent back to the Customer and the exchange will be refused.
12.1 A proof of purchase is enclosed with every purchased item. The Customer will receive a confirmation and a summary of the order by email after the order has been placed. Le Savon Sauvage shall not be liable if the Customer provides incorrect data.
13. Personal data processing
Le Savon Sauvage reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time without notifying you in advance. The version applicable to an order will be the one that appears on the website www.lesavonsauvage.com at the time when the order was placed.
Le Savon Sauvage reserves the right to organise promotions on its website.
14.1. Launch Promotion
The gift will be received in the same parcel as the ordered products.
14.2. Black Friday Promotion
Le Savon Sauvage is running a Black Friday Promotion during 27-30 November 2020 as follows: all online orders with a minimum value of 70€, regardless of the delivery method or location in the EU, will receive a 15% reduction provided the Customer uses the BlackFriday15 promo code at check-out. This code is valid between 27-30 November 2020, it cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons and does not apply to items on sale.
Part of the same Black Friday Promotion, all orders with delivery in Belgium, having a minimum value of 70€, will automatically receive free delivery.

Le Savon Sauvage is running a Christmas Flash Sale Promotion during 18-20 December 2020 as follows: all online orders of soaps from the winter collection and textile gift bags, regardless of their delivery method in the EU, will receive a 20% reduction provided the Customer uses the MerryChristmas promo code at check-out. This code is valid until 21 December 2020, it cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons and does not apply to items on sale.
